THE SUNDAY FUNNIES
OLD TOMORROWLAND STYLE
In keeping with Old Tomorrowland Month here at the Institute, this version of Sunday Funnies features a Tomorrowland submarine ride themed cartoon by none other than the Big Mooseketeer, Roy Williams. This is from a Disneyland manual circa 1959. The mimeographed booklet was prepared for Disneyland personnel so they could familiarize themselves with Walt Disney and his organization. It also featured an occasional drawing by Williams featuring the funny side of life at Disneyland. Apparently this one was to let the maintenance cast members know of some of the fringe benefits of their job. Enjoy!
