Sorry for the lack of essays and posts as of late. I have been devoting enormous amounts of time to my work for the Walt Disney Family Foundation, and just have trouble finding the time to devote to anything else. However, happy to add yet one more piece of the puzzle to the Dixieland at Disneyland essays (read them here). A longtime reader and faithful friend (and competent Disney historian and researcher) sent me this 1960 newspaper clipping that advertises the first ever jazz music extravaganza at the Happiest Place on Earth.
