In keeping with the earlier image today of Walt and Mickey Mouse in front of the Hyperion Studio (see at: Fanchon and Marko), I would like to thank Paula Sigman Lowery for letting me know the name of the individual inside of Mickey. It is none other than Toots Novello. So here is a picture of Toots and Walt! I love this image, because the 2719 is clearly visible over the door of this first structure, and even as the Hyperion Studio expanded, they kept this address, 2719 Hyperion (which I should tell you, is another brilliant Disney blog that I think is grand: 2719 Hyperion). The image below is from an early Hyperion Air Mail envelope in my collection.
