Walt loved his home in Palm Springs, California, at the Smoke Tree Ranch. It was a place where he could get away, and he was also very fond of the desert. (As you see in many photos of Walt, and on his Television Introductions, he also loved the Smoke Tree Ranch ties and wore them often).
